What do successful people know about being grateful? Or more important to you:

What do successful people know about gratitude that you don’t know?

Being grateful doesn’t just mean to say “thank you”, or to feel thankful when something special comes as a gift, or in response to something you need or want.

The feeling of gratefulness is a very deep and honest feeling, that needs to be cultivated and taken care of every day. To me, being grateful means to truly appreciate what I’ve got, specially those days or periods in my life where I felt I did not have much to be grateful for, at least nothing I could see, to practice the habit of gratefulness was essential.

Well, do this exercise, listen:

Highly successful and known people like Oprah Winfrey talk about gratitude quite often when they are asked about their success, or habits that keep them where they are today.

Here is a little excerpt by Oprah herself:

“For years I’ve been advocating the power and pleasure of being grateful. I kept a gratitude journal for a full decade without fail—and urged you all to do the same. Then life got busy. My schedule overwhelmed me. I still opened my journal some nights, but my ritual of writing down five things I was grateful for every day started slipping away.”

Deepack Chopra, who happens to work with Oprah quite often (by the way the meditation series on gratitude was amazing…), also gives gratitude a very high value:

“When you focus on the things that you are grateful for, it opens you to the source of all those things that came into your life. It also removes your ego, which is a nice way of getting touch with your spirit. You cannot have ego, identity and feel grateful in the same time. The highest level of gratitude is the gratitude for existence itself.”

How do you practice gratitude every day? I always remind myself of everything I’ve got that I’m thankful for, before I get out of bed every morning, that makes me start the day with a whole different perspective.

After getting out of bed, normally around 5 and 5: 30 am, I do 20 minutes of exercise. And while I do it, I tell myself how grateful I am for having a healthy body, capable of working out and keeping fit to live the life I love, to take care of my child, to achieve what I dream of…

When I have my breakfast, I feel grateful for the food I have got every day, and so on…it’s already kind of automatic, because I practice it on a daily basis.

But how to hold those habits even in your worst days? I use more than one tool to support my habits when I need a little help, like Subliminal Audios, and Meditation. Get your Subliminals HERE

Let’s do this exercise:

  • You make a list
  • or submit a comment,
  • or make a video about how grateful you feel for what you have today. If you still don’t practice gratitude, it might be a great start.

I’m grateful for having this blog, so I can post every day if I want to, and share with YOU! And of course, I’m so thankfull I found this system to help me build my business from home, living the way I love, with freedom.

What is your daily life like? Do you have freedom? Do you like blogging? Do you blog?…

Well, I leave you with something here, enjoy, and maybe we can be grateful together once you start!

Love, with gratefulness,
